We found ourselves surrounded by a "sea of ​​olive trees," but among them, we discovered something that broke our hearts: centuries-old olive trees, some with more than 200 years of history, that had been forgotten. Trees that had fed generations and now languished in neglect.

What began as the purchase of a recreational property transformed—thanks to the generosity of our neighbors and friends in the area—into a life lesson. They taught us to "listen" to the land. They helped us understand that those twisted tree trunks weren't just wood, but breathing life.
