Traditional blend from Baix Ebre: Farga, Morruda and Sevillenca

Bagatelle is born from the perfect harmony between three ancestral varieties. Unlike single-varietal oils, this blend balances power, aroma, and smoothness in a single product:

  • Farga: It brings the elegance and structure of centuries-old and millennia-old olive trees.
  • Morruda: Delivers character, body, and that vibrant spiciness.
  • Sevillenca: It gives us fruity sweetness and the most delicate aromas.

Tasting Notes: A Sensory Experience

This blend has been designed to offer a journey of flavors on the palate:

On the nose: It presents a medium-high fruitiness with predominant notes of freshly cut grass, olive leaf and subtle touches of green apple and sloe almond.

On the palate: It stands out for its pleasant and sweet entry (thanks to the Sevillenca grape). As it progresses, the structure and body of the Farga grape emerge, culminating in a light, elegant, and very balanced spiciness and bitterness, characteristic of the Morruda variety.

Color: Intense gold with greenish reflections, clean and bright.

The Purity of Origin and the Mineral Soil

Our olive trees, ranging in age from 60 to 120 years, are rooted in exceptional soil. The estate sits on a base of limestone and ceratolite, a mineral combination that gives the fruit a structure and character unattainable in conventional soils. Here, the trees thrive without artificial irrigation, nourished solely by the natural balance, concentrating the essence of the olive in every drop.

The Microclimate of Paüls: The Oil Amphitheater

Located in the natural "amphitheater" of the Xerta to Paüls road, our estate enjoys a unique microclimate. Sheltered by the imposing Els Ports mountain range, at an altitude of 250 to 500 meters, the olive trees are bathed in pure, intense sunlight. This location favors slow ripening, allowing for the development of a complex and vibrant sensory profile.
